Just a short stroll from The Ferry House, Sconser Lodge is a traditional Highland hotel set right on the shores of Loch Sligachan, with spectacular views across the water to the Isle of Raasay and the Cuillin mountains.
Built in 1871 as a hunting lodge for the MacDonalds, it is now a small, family-run hotel offering a warm welcome, cosy interiors, and one of the most scenic dining rooms on Skye.
A Beautiful Setting
Sconser Lodge sits directly on the water's edge, with its own jetty and shoreline where guests sometimes spot otters, seals, and even dolphins. The lounge and dining areas look out across the loch, making it a particularly special place for a relaxed drink, meal, or afternoon coffee.
Inside, the hotel has a traditional feel, with open fires, comfortable seating, and a peaceful, homely atmosphere.
